What people say about Filipino Matters

Hello!

I am Mary Ann Mayo and a friend in Facebook showed me your page. I am very interested to contribute to your book.

What categories do you have? I have been in the environmental movement for 12 years and maybe I can help by writing in the environmental category. Other than that not sure how I can be of help or contribute to advancing this project.

I hope you can enlighten me on how I can help you in my own little way :-)

Sincerely,

Mary Ann

Dear Sir/Madam,

I have learned about the organization through a companion, as I visit the site I learned many things. The organization is truly inspiring, somehow I salute to your advocacy in uplifting our race. I hope I could help in my own little ways by promoting it at my network.

I suggest that you enter the social networking world, at least you could be closer to the Filipino youth since we spend lots of time surfing the net, checking out our facebook and friendster, hehehe. I recently graduated at a university that are home to different organizations contesting the government, so I'm aware of the things happening in our country coz every facade have posters and vandals, lol. It even came to my mind to join them but I think its not for me.

I would like to end this letter by saying thank you for there are people like you that is willing to do the good deeds for the sake of this country and we really need that. Mabuhay ang Pinoy at mabuhay ang Filipino Matters!!! Kudos to Filipino Matters!!!

Hi! My name is Asuncion Rosauro Graham and I go by either Siony or Shawnie. I am a Filipino by birth but American by choice. I do however care for my country and my countrymen. I despair to see what the Philippines has become and how our fellow countrymen seem to have lost their pride and dignity as a Filipino. I am happy to see that there is such a project going on and I would like to volunteer what ever time I can spare to promote the project. Please let me know what I can do to help.

Salamat po!

Hi,

I discovered your website by accident on the web and I'm curious about it.

I'd like to know more about your organisation aside from what's available on the web. When was this organisation formed? Which project are you doing now?

I'm sure there are a lot of stories out there of lesser known Filipinos around the world who have some accomplishments worth telling to make our countrymen proud.

I believe I can also write and contribute to your contents in this Filipino Pride Book.  I am currently based in Australia and I may be able to give you some contents about the Filipino community here that you can include in your book.

Regards,

Thanks for taking time to produce this book! It’s a breath of fresh air in a world where negativity and crab mentality continue.

To hinder and dampen our “Filipino” spirit to the point of making us apathetic to what’s happening around us.

I hope this project travels around the globe and touches the lives of countless Filipinos and awakens our sense of nationalism and pride.

I look forward to reading this when I go home this May and I hope the local bookstores don’t run out of copies!!!

I’m interested to volunteer for this organization so let me know how I can be of help.

Again, maraming salamat sa inyong panahon at tiyaga.

Cheers!

I learned of your projects through your website, www.filipinopride.org. We are very interested to know more about your movement and help you promote it and your endeavors in one of our shows.

This week we are featuring local/Filipino authors and books in connection with National Book Dev't Board's theme this year, Read Pinoy! That said, may we invite anyone from your organization for a radio phone-patch interview …

Please do not hesitate to get in-touch with me if you have questions or clarifications. I would love to hear from you. Blessings!
